I made these baby blankets using some leftover wool I had from previous knitting projects to donate to the premature baby ward in Royal Berkshire Hospital. John Lewis have a box in their haberdashery department where you can donate them and I did feel a bit intimidated placing my basic crocheted rectangular blankets on top of already made items that were pret-tay impressive. Awkward.

This is a really short post as these have been my one and only crocheting projects, I learnt a few basic stitches and then put it on hold to concentrate on home-made christmas presents. I’d like to start it up again though as I found the whole process of making the stitches quite therapeutic. I really want to make a granny blanket out of crochet squares but that’s a pretty big undertaking, although one square at a time, eh.
